Welcome to streamingvideoseries.com. This site was designed for those who enjoy watching mysteries, dramas and comedy series online, and would like suggestions on what, and where, to watch them on American streaming services.
There are now over 1,000 series or full-length movies listed on the site. The listings cover a wide range of genres. The majority of the listings are mysteries, thrillers or dramas.

I started this site because of my interest in British mysteries and dramas. There is a special list of “British Crime Series” and the "favorites" page has a section on mysteries--most of which are British..
If you looking for suggestions on where to get started or need some fresh ideas on what to watch, I publish various "favorites" lists. These series are my all-time favorites currently available on a streaming service. Virtually all the major streaming services are represented so this list is a great place to start.
Each listing has a general description of the genre, a rating by IMDB (the Internet Movie Database) and a personal rating--if I have watched the series. The IMDB ratings are a composite of individual viewer ratings (anywhere from a few hundred to tens of thousands of ratings) and is based on a scale of 10 (best) to 1 (worst). I rate productions on a scale of 5 (outstanding/must watch) to 1 (not worth the time). These ratings are subjective and based on my personal preferences. I don’t always agree with IMDB so it’s best to consider both ratings. I often write a “News & Notes” post when I really disagree with IMDB.
For a sense of the relative intensity level of a series look at my "Heat Index" ratings. These ratings are for series I have personally watched. A rating of 5 reflects a dark/intense story while a 1 reflects a "cozie" story. Think of "Breaking Bad" as 5, while "Miss Marple" as 1.
The lists can be long, but you can page through the lists using the scroll button; and you can print any page, or list, you want.
Just look for the "green dot" to find where you can watch your favorite series or streaming movies.
